Skate Pebbles
Stackable, decorative skateboard pebbles. Made from 100% recycled skateboard wood off-cuts.
During the recycling process of used skateboards, especially when gluing up bigger pieces, off-cuts are often left over. Now some of these pieces are unusable, but others are still good to go. As my aim is to use as much as possible of each old skateboard, I cannot throw away neat looking pieces like these bowl off cuts.
Hand sanded into asymmetrical pebbles they make for perfect decorative elements. No pebble is the same, each one is unique. Stack them, arrange them in weird shapes and orientations, do whatever you like with them (but please do not eat them, as delicious as they look), that is what they are meant for.
Each set includes as least six pebbles of various sizes, forms and colors in a random assortment. All pebbles are hand sanded and finished with Danish oil to bring the colors to life.
Sizes of the pebbles vary, but are generally from roughly 5x4 cm to 2x2cm. Each set includes some bigger and smaller pebbles.

This bowl is finished with food safe wood wax. It can be used for dry snacks and wiped with a dry towel. The glue used in this bowl is water repellant (Titebond 2). The bowl cannot be used for holding liquids.
Do no wash this bowl in the dishwasher or by submerging it for any period of time. Re-finishing after extended use is possible by using food safe wood oil or wax.
