This dish is finished with food safe Danish oil. It can be used for dry snacks and wiped with a dry towel. The glue used in this dish is water proof (Titebond 3). The dish cannot be used for holding liquids.
Do no wash this dish in the dishwasher or by submerging it for any period of time. Re-finishing after extended use is possible by using food safe wood oil or wax.
