This bowl is finished with food safe Danish oil. It can be used for dry snacks and wiped with a dry towel. The glue used in this bowl is water repellant (Titebond 2). The bowl cannot be used for holding liquids.
Do no wash this bowl in the dishwasher or by submerging it for any period of time. Re-finishing after extended use is possible by using food safe wood oil or wax.
