The goal was to make a small stool with simple but sturdy joinery that does not require screws or glue to assemble. In fact, it can be assembled without tools in under 1 minute. See how to do it in the instructional video down below.
These Mini Skate Stools are made from one skateboard (if possible) for the top and sides. The middle brace comes from the middle section of another deck.
Each deck has been cleaned from debris, grime, wax and other contaminations so you don’t have to worry about getting dirt on yourself when sitting on the stool. All edges were carefully hand sanded to ensure they are smooth. In fact, all edges are finished as smooth as they were when the deck was new.
Finished off with mineral oil to conserve the colors, remaining deck graphics and signs of use, which give each stool their unique patina, or as I call it - the “skater’s signature”.
These stools might seem small, but they hold a grown person without an issue (tested on a 110kg /240lbs guy - me). They can be used as a small sitting stool for young and old, step stool to get to hard to reach places, or whatever you can come up with.

Deck width: depending on the used deck between 18-23cm (7-9 inch)
