Otto’s Nightstand

This work was commissioned by someone who is at least as passionate about skateboarding as I am, but probably even more.

He wanted a nightstand made from used skateboards and had somewhat of an idea what it could look like. I sent him a couple of design ideas and we pretty much landed on the design with the first try. Timeless and minimalistic with enough colors to light up an entire room.

This piece was created from 14 skateboards, one liter of wood glue and a set of black metal legs. Both the recipient and I were very happy with the results.

Thank you, Otto for letting me make this vision come true.
